A friend of mine here who is also sponsored by Zona offered to talk to them about sponsoring me when he heard I won bronze in Nationals, and gold and bronze in two sanctioned tournaments last fall here in AZ. They agreed to sponsor me and gave me the shirt, caps, and other freebies.  Attached is a pic they posted on their Facebook page of my friend and I after we won bronze last November.

QCPC Members Win In Surprise Arizona

Quad-City pickleball club members were winners in the USAPA Sanctioned Tommy Wong Memorial Tournament held in Surprise, Arizona, January 4-7, 2018.

Chris Fricke and Steve Szalo won gold in the 3.5 skill level mixed doubles bracket.

Chris Fricke and Laurie Lartz won bronze in the 4.0 skill level women’s doubles bracket.

Lartz Wins Silver!

Laurie Lartz and her partner, Bruce Borchers, won the silver medal in the 3.5 skill level bracket at the Spring Slam​ tournament held in Sun City, AZ, March 11-13.  The tournament was USAPA sanctioned and had approximately 200 teams entered. Congratulations Laurie!
