New Courts Open for Play

Blue skies and warming temperatures greeted players on the first day of play on the new pickleball courts at Kiwanis Park in Bettendorf, Iowa, on Friday, Oct. 25, 2013. The outdoor season is drawing to a close this season but the players raved about the six new, individually fenced courts.

With variable fall temperatures, players will continue breaking in the new courts, weather permitting, before the cold drives us indoors until next spring. Until then, enjoy. On the first day of play, five of the six courts were kept busy.
